. emotions run high at a bay area courthouse and good afternoon, the murder trial of a woman who is accused of killing nursing student michelle le over a year ago, we are here to find out about dramatic moments even before

the trial started. good morning allie. >> reporter: before it all began, michelle le's brother, father and cousin were greeted by supporters. let's show you that video of that he can change. the class kids foundation helps to search for michelle le when she went missing and ever since then. the class family and michelle le family have kept in close contact. also present was sierra lemar's father. sierra lemar is the girl who disappeared from morgan hill and michelle le family has been actively involved in the search for sierra lemar. >> you really feel isolated and alone during a time like this. it is about probably the biggest incident that -- since

den in their -- incident in their lives the loss of a child... >> reporter: now cameras were not allowed in the courtroom but what you are looking at is a video from a year ago. she looks 10 to 15 pounds heavier than she does a year ago. if somebody is accused of killing michelle le back in may of 2011 and today the prosecutor laid out his case to the jury. she was motivated by jealousy hatred and rage after the mandated michelle le. they have surveillance video showing michelle le walking through keizer medical center. there is evidence she stole an identification card in order to gain access to the building and there is dna evidence including michelle le's blood and a strand of the woman's hair.

there is also text messages sent by this woman and it says, quote, this will not end until she does and her punishment will be dealt with swiftly and michelle le has dug her own grave. all of this evidence will be included against her in this trial. the jury is taking a break and when they come back they will hear from her evidence as to why her client is innocent. we will have all the latest as the trial of statements continue. allie rasmus channel 2 news. he has pled not guilty, one goh is eligible for the death penalty for oikos university murders. and the san francisco crime

lab tech anything is accused of stealing cocaine. deborah madden stole cocaine she was supposed to be testing at the lab. she is facing charges of illegal drugs by fraud. madden has a admitted to taking the drugs but denies the fraud charge. they prompted the district attorney to dismiss evidence based on evidence from that lab. it is based on four years in prison. they are now looking for two missing fisherman. the pair were missing since the boat overturned 20 miles south of half-moon bay. a coast guard search and rescue team did more searches. four people were aboard the boat and two people made it back safely. there are civil on the shore helping in the search. it is another very warm day

three people were hurt on a freeway shooting on the peninsular. they drove alongside a dodge charger and opened fire. this was about 3:30 in the afternoon. the charger swerved off the freeway and crashed off the hallly street -- hawley street exit. it may have started as far back as san mateo. they are trying to hear from anybody who may have used it. >> they will allow certain drivers licenses make the road safer. jeanine della vega joins -- della vega joins us with more. >> reporter: undocumented people don't have a driver's license, they are either in fear of getting caught driving

illegally or they need people to drive them around. they are applauding governor jerry brown's actions. he signed a law which allows immigrants to also be allowed to get a driver's license. it provides undocumented people under 16 years old to stay in the country illegally. and those under 30 years old who either graduated or served in the military to get driver's licenses. >> it is comforting to know we will not have to worry about where this will be going. i'm sure there is going to the lawsuits. >> they are helping hundreds of client. we spoke to one woman about
